Long overdue review from me having bought 2 caterhams from Sevens & Classics over recent years. I have only hugely positive things to say, they are always helpful, responsive and great caterham knowledge. Just booked the R500 in for servicing, I would never look elsewhere.

Excellent service. It’s so refreshing to deal with a car dealership that puts customer satisfaction before anything else. From initial enquiry to final collection of Caterham 360S SV, the friendly attention from the team was a lesson to others. Nothing was too much trouble, & their 'can do' approach was refreshing. Vehicle PDI prep was amazing, prior to a 150 mile M25 drive home in heavy rain with just a ½ tonneau for protection, as I'm not supple enough for the full hood! I still had a (damp) smile on my face though! Thoroughly recommended.

The Ducati is fabulous & Len is a legend!  It’s been a real pleasure dealing with you guys.

Sevens & Classics gave Five Star service from my initial enquiry right down to the delivery, from speaking with Andy via email and over the phone, nothing I asked was a problem and then meeting Tim to view the car,I knew I was buying from the best in the business. The attention to detail was better than I have ever experienced with any car dealer (including Porsche and Ferrari) The car was better than I expected when I first saw it at Sevens&Classics and even better when delivered, valet skills are on another level. Still in 2c weather, but here are my first impressions.  What a fantastic car ………brilliant engine and exhaust note,  instant throttle control , seamless power , superb direct steering , progressive and catchable handling and as properly fast as I hoped it would be. I am looking forward to hill climbing in it and I am hoping to break the times I set in my 435BHP Impreza Spec C. I thought that was a visceral drive , your R400 is another dimension! Thanks for all your help.

Yet another wet run home today, but considering the weather, 260 miles non stop in 4.5 hours is pretty good. Another great bit of service from Sevens and Classics, who together with Boss Racing have completely sorted out the handling on my Caterham Seven. It came out of the factory post-build check late last year handling like a pig on stilts, with appalling understeer. Now it steers and handles like a good Seven should. Thanks a million, chaps!

I’ve had a great weekend. Absolutely loving the car. It’s had some pretty thorough testing – I covered about 300 miles between picking it up and when the rain hit on Sunday. Looking forward to doing many more. Your team have done a brilliant job, and the paintwork in particular looks fantastic. Clearly a huge amount of care has gone into it, which I massively appreciate. It really looks phenomenal and has been going perfectly. Just a quick note to say thanks for the work and that the car is running very well – I squeezed in several trips out before the weather turned bad again.

Thanks for the follow up. I had a great drive back to Dorset, all A roads some damp, some dry, some wet, a wee bit of rain and a blast around a bypass that is normally very skittish. The car performed well, my head is now recalibrated and I am gaining confidence in the car that runs brilliantly. My only concern is the rictus smile, I suspect that will pass sometime next week! Thanks for the driver tuition. Spending time with Richard in the car was a privilege and something I wish I’d done sooner. He has already given me plenty to think about when it comes to the basic inputs of driving the car and I was impressed by how calm and patient he was with a novice.

I found the driver tuition day brilliant. I didn’t quite know what to expect but it certainly exceeded my hopes and expectations, even if I am a bit miffed that I can’t drive like Emerson Fittipaldi yet! Richard was a really superb instructor/trainer. He had a very gentle and sympathetic manner. Explained things really clearly so that they all made sense and was very encouraging on the road.

When I bought mine couldn’t have asked for better service and the follow up service is just as good . Tim and Andy have a great team and long may it continue.

I recently part-exchanged my Sigma 125 for a Duratec R400 with Sevens & Classics. I’m very happy with the deal and service received. The R400 is currently back with them for a few bits & bobs to make it perfect, all being done with no quibbles.

I bought my R300 from them a couple of months ago after much searching. They could not have been more helpful as (being a fussy sod) I wanted wheels/seats etc changed and fiddled with: no problem. Having dealt with the “motor trade” for many years I have no hesitation in recommending S & C.

+1 for a great service from the team at S&C.. have been faultless every time I have dealt with them.. real enthusiasts, not just a car dealership.

Bought my current 7 from them and cannot recommend them high enough. A dealer with genuine customer focus!

I was at Brands Hatch last Tuesday doing a track day and my alternator belt went. I called S&C and they told me to come straight round so they could take a look at it. 15 minutes later they had fitted a new belt and all was well again. Excellent service (Tim and Andy) – I would happily recommend them as not only did they sort me out but they also seemed like top, enthusiastic, helpful blokes. Very impressive !!!

That’s really good to hear that Andy and Co. are really going the extra mile. I to have only heard very positive feedback from others about their experiences with S and C. Keep up the good work.

I sold my 7 to Sevens and Classics and bought another one. Got it home, had my tea and was hoping to go out in evening. Starter motor fault meant I couldn’t. I emailed Seven and Classics at 8pm. Had two replies within the hour from their homes. Andy was at my house with a replacement starter motor by 11am and had it fitted by 1pm. I was very impressed with everything about them. I haven’t yet heard a bad thing said about them.

Bought my first Caterham at the end of last year from Sevens and Classics. They changed the seats, lowered the floors and updated the roll bar. All done more quickly than I could reasonably expect and at the price agreed. Great service and a delight to deal with. I would thoroughly recommend them. And no, I have no connection; other than as a satisfied customer.

I found Sevens and Classics to be knowledgeable, friendly and straight forward. Unlike Caterham they actually call you back and answer emails!They offer to “tailor” cars to your requirements if something you’re looking at isn’t quite the spec you’re after.

Sold my first Caterham to them earlier in the year. Exceptionally good, straight people, based on that experience at least. Bid me a price over the phone, paid the money and then picked the car up two days later. It was a 14 year old car, so not without risk as a blind purchase. When I sell my current one, they will be the first people I’ll call unless I sell it myself.

I was there for the first time on Thursday looking for my first Caterham. Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable. Andy is an ex-director of Caterham. Great selection of cars and good location virtually track side at Brands. Hoping to return soon and come back with my first Caterham!

Dear S&C, Wow! I can’t tell you how utterly enthralled I am with the Caterham Super Seven. That 30 year itch was worth the wait. What it can do and how it does it exceeds my expectations…I stare at in the garage and it makes me smile. I start it up anywhere and I grin like a Cheshire cat. Spent the morning with a great bunch of guys at Sevens and Classics having a new heated screen fitted.
They all know their stuff, are enthusiastic about Caterhams and charge a really fair price. I would really recommend Andy and Tim to anyone requiring anything to do with Caterhams. If your lucky, even the boss gets his hands dirty, not because they are short staffed, but because he enjoys it, how many other businesses do you find like that!

I was on a track day at brands last Saturday, a couple were booked to do their ARDS test but unfortunately their 7 went wrong shortly beforehand… I called S&C & within 15 mins Tim had popped over to the pit garages & sorted it out for them… & I’m pretty sure he did it free of charge.

Can’t recommend these guys highly enough. I bought my car from them earlier this year and totally enjoyed the experience. If you don’t know them then go and introduce yourself.

Just picked up the Duratec R400 after having work done by ‘Sevens and Classics’ at Brands Hatch. Respray of body/wings after 8 years of stone chips and a little corrosion in the usual place along bottom of body. They also fitted throttle bodies which have transformed the smoothness of the engine generally. Really neat installation. A long journey down from Newcastle but highly recommended.
