Ducati's beautifully engineered retro sports millennial motorcycle.  Hand built in the Bolognia factory as a homage to Mike Hailwood and his 1978 TT racer and other classic Ducati's but for the modern era.  Legendary bike designer Pierre Terblanche managed the design and build of these lovely bikes for the year 2000 launch.  The beautifully executed retro racer bodywork compliments the Reynolds 531 tubular frame and exquisite single-sided trellis rear swinging arm.

This particular bike is numbered 1671, delivered in 2002 as one of approximately 25 official UK Ducatis' delivered to owners.

The present owner has been custodian of this machine since 2012.  It has been fastidiously cared for including fresh recommissioning this spring, by marque experts ProTwins, prior to sale.  This MH900E is not just a fine piece of automotive art, but an easy and rewarding bike to ride too.  Its fuel injected 904cc engine has plenty of power and torque to propel a sublime lightweight chassis along for an enjoyable spirited ride.  Supplied new by Chris Clarke Motorcycles, Norwich; the bike is beautifully presented with just 1828miles/ 2942kilometers (as all bikes have KM odometers) on the clock from new.  It comes with all its original paperwork, both keys, stamped up-to-date service book, all its history documented, and Ducati commemorative numbered edition plaque in a leather box.  The bike was ordered new with the rare and beautiful factory Staintune de-cat. factory silencer option, that looks and sounds delightful.   Exhaust primary pipes have also been chrome plated to compliment the brightwork on the bike.  Also included is the original tool kit, the full factory workshop engineering manual,  a rear paddock stand; plus what must be every publication about the MH900E printed over the last 25 years since its inception.

An instant modern classic that was once voted "The most beautiful production motorcycle every produced" - a subjective claim, but one that that can be understood  when you see an MH900E in the flesh or out on the road.  The buyer of this motorcycle will be buying a significant piece of Ducati history, that can either be enjoyed in a private collection or ridden regularly.  One thing is for certain when you venture out to ride the MH900E - you will get a lot of attention, admiring looks, photos and questions about it to satisfy curious of onlookers that will not have seen anything quite like it previously or since.
